2022 Holiday Greetings

As 2022 is coming to an end, we reflect and look back at a post pandemic year with new challenges around us. The war in Ukraine has impacted us all and it is shocking that something this cruel can happen so close to us. 2022 has also been the year where “energy crisis” became a very popular word, the inflation has risen to record levels followed by rising interest rates very many Swedes have never experienced. We also have a new government in Sweden since September and the impact on the migration politics remains to be seen.

From a business perspective, 2022 has been challenging with severe delays at the Swedish Migration Agency and new rules requiring many “requests for additional information”, impacting the work load for our immigration team and postponing arrivals for many of the customers served by our relocation team. We look forward to better conditions in the New Year.

On a more positive note, business has prospered and it has been yet another very intense year with a steady growing number of initiations, both from new clients and from our current clients who have continued to show us their trust while recruiting or relocating employees. Luckily we have on-boarded a great number of fantastic new colleagues in all three offices and our team is larger and better than ever! We were once again awarded with the Cartus Commitment to Excellence Platinum Award, which is a recognition of all the hard work and dedication our employees show every day.
